Southwest's Ticket Change Policy

I have to say, I have to LUV the fact that Southwest has no change fees on their tickets. I have been trying to take a vacation since March of this year, and well its now October, and have changed my tickets I don't even know how many times now, because money gets tight, or scheduling or something. Its always something.

Delta has been price matching Southwest on flights between Salt Lake City and Seattle for the last year or so as well, and let me tell you Delta would not have let me change it this many times for no cost... Yes the ride may be better (I happen to like the MD-90, and the 757); but those change fees would have nixed any hopes of a vacation all together. The rate they have been matching to the Southwest non refundable rate is TA14A0SA, which has a $150 change fee - and off the top of my head I can think of three or four changes I've made already to my tickets... I don't have an extra $600 thats for sure.

So I want to say hats off to Southwest on this policy - no I haven't been paid by them for this - and welcome to my new blog where I will ramble about my observations on travel and flight.
